After studying at Coventry I worked with various youth and community organisations on public art programmes, events and performances, eventually ending up working in theatre, film and television, creating effects and replicating finishes.

Working with highly-skilled artists in theatre, I learned some of the joys of applying glazes and colour washes, which has influenced the way I paint now.

From sketches and photographs made in the field, I work mostly in the studio, though I work en plein air whenever possible.

The paintings shown on this site date from the early nineties to the present day, and some are available as prints. Some of these paintings are in private collections, and others are available for purchase. Please drop me a line if you would like any information regarding availability and prices.
